Impact: Dorsey is a smallish scatback with nice open-field moves, though unfortunately for him, Aaron Brown is pretty much the same thing. Dorsey will probably have to contribute on special teams if he wants a chance at opening the 2010 season on the Lions' roster. (Fanball | 3:19P)

News: New Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz suggested that Greg Olsen will be asked to block much more than he has in the past, according to Pro Football Talk. "All tight ends, their first responsibility, they have to put their hand down on the line of scrimmage and be a successful blocker, and then they move to receiving," Martz said. "To just skip by that and say, 'He's a terrific receiver,' well, then you might as well just put another wide receiver in there."
Impact: Martz's offenses have never been friendly to tight ends, and in fact no tight end has ever caught 40 balls in any of his offenses. Olsen led the Bears with 60 receptions and eight touchdowns last year, but it looks like there's no way he'll approach those numbers under the Martz regime. You have to wonder if the Bears will consider trading him, because there are plenty of teams that would be ecstatic at the potential to land a pass-catching tight end of Olsen's talent. News: New Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz indicated that he plans to reduce Devin Hester role on offense slightly so that Hester can focus more on special teams, according to Pro Football Talk. "It would be very difficult for [Hester] to play every snap on offense and still play effectively on special teams," Martz said.
Impact: Martz said that he envisions playing Hester in the slot, the same spot that he used Az-Zahir Hakim in back in his heyday with the Rams. It's worth nothing that Hakim never caught more than 53 balls or reached 750 receiving yards, needless to say that Hester's fantasy value seems to have taken a hit. (Fanball | 9:11A)

News: Hamilton did not play in the Saints' Super Bowl victory Sunday and finished the year with modest numbers as the Saints' third/fourth running back this year.
Impact: Hamilton did not see the field much behind Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, and Reggie Bush. Much of his value next year will be determined this offseason and what the Saints decide to do with Bush and Bell. Regardless, Hamilton will likely be the backup behind Pierre Thomas even in the best-case scenario (RotoWire | 8:39A)
