Today's Top Questions
  1. Are prizes awarded to the winners in public leagues?

FOXSports does not currently offer any prizes to public league champions.

  2. How do playoff tiebreakers work? Can we select the tiebreaker to be used?

If teams tie in the playoffs, a series of three tiebreakers are utilized to determine who won the matchup (i.e. if each team tied via the first tiebreaker, the second one is used, etc.). These settings will vary between leagues, as they can be modified by the commissioner via League Setup.

  3. Will commissioners have the ability to use the Player Service Time tool and Retro scoring tool for the playoffs?

Yes, commissioners will be able to use these tools as they did in the regular season. Afterwards, playoff brackets will update accordingly.

  4. How are playoff seeds organized in the playoff brackets? Who determines this?

Playoffs are organized via the settings chosen by your commissioner prior to the season. As per your league rules, the teams with the best records will have higher seeds. Also, commissioners have the ability to manually edit their league’s playoff seeds if they desire to override their current league’s settings.

  5. Will there be the ability to set up a loser bracket? If not, can those teams still set lineups and be scored?

Consolation brackets will not be utilized. As a result, teams that did not make the playoffs will see their season end when the playoffs begin. These users can still set their lineups, but they will not be scored since they are not currently participating in a matchup.

  6. My league has 7 teams in the playoffs. The 1st seed has the BYE and the other 6 teams play in the first round. Will I be able to set this up?

Odd numbers of playoff teams are not allowed. Commissioners can only choose between two, four, six, or eight teams which will qualify for the playoffs.

  7. Can we choose the teams that will get the bye in the first week of the playoffs?

Yes, commissioners can choose which teams will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs should their league meet these requirements.

  8. Our playoffs are double elimination. Will I be able to set that up?

No, playoffs are single elimination only.

  9. Our championship game is two weeks. Do you have an option for that?

No, championship games can only take place during one week of games, similar to how the regular season is set up.

  10. Will I be able to change the week that my leagues playoffs start in?

Prior to your to the start of your league's playoffs, commissioners can edit which week playoffs will begin via League Setup. However, once your league's playoffs begin you will be unable to modify this setting.
